PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene / teflon) is an opaque flexible material which is not made for medical use (read more here).
PMFK (polymethyformamide) is a transparent semi-rigid material. However, when put under stress, PMFK becomes opaque. Additionally, Bioplast (Polysulfone ... a hard plastic compound) can be heat sterilised at temperatures only below 120 C ( ... that is below autoclave normal operating temperatures )
